Why travel is so important?
=”text-align: justify;”>“TWENTY YEARS FROM NOW YOU WILL BE MORE DISAPPOINTED BY THE THINGS YOU DIDN’T DO THAN BY THE ONES YOU DID. SO, THROW OFF THE BOWLINES, SAIL AWAY FROM THE SAFE HARBOUR. CATCH THE TRADE WINDS IN YOUR SAILS. EXPLORE. DREAM. DISCOVER.” — MARK TWAIN
There is nothing quite like traveling, like seeing a new place for the first time or returning to a favourite one. It is an extraordinary, yet humbling experience: to go to another country, and to see people live, speak and look differently. It reveals a whole new and exciting world out there, beyond the confines of your city.
Travel changes you in so many ways. It teaches that all we have is really, this moment. You meet new people, learn new languages, and try new foods. You discover and share new experiences. You give people the chance to know more about you and your culture. You let down your guard much more that you would have back home, wrapped up in the daily routine and stresses of the work-life balance.
Traveling has numerous benefits. The money you spend on it is really, an investment in yourself.

You find your inner balance
- Traveling tremendously impacts your mental being, especially if you’re not used to getting out of your comfort zone. It allows you to disconnect from your daily life, away from the mundane, comfortable routine or from the stress and fatigue affecting your health and happiness.
You meet new people
- Traveling truly expands your social network, which is quite important in today’s world. You meet new people and share memorable experiences together. You establish connections and begin building a network abroad. Who knows, you may return one day to that restaurant in Rome, where the owner was so welcoming, and it has now become a favourite of yours.
You create lifetime memories
- Traveling gets you out of your comfort zone, makes you more adventurous, and makes you a great storyteller as well. For instance, eating local food in a new country is an entirely new experience in itself. How can you know what sushi really tastes like if you’ve never been to Japan?
You become more empathetic
- Traveling gives you a chance to discover different people in their country, going on their daily lives. It broadens your perspective as you become more understanding and more tolerant about a culture different to yours.
“THE WORLD IS A BOOK, AND THOSE THAT DO NOT TRAVEL READ ONLY ONE PAGE.” — SAINT AUGUSTINE
You gain a better understanding of your home
- Away from home, you come to understand what ‘home’ actually is as you see it in a different light upon your return. As they say, it feels good to leave, and it feels even better to come back.To conclude, travel helps people better understand themselves and their lives. It also makes a person feel connected to the many people living in different countries, with a better understanding of their cultures and beliefs.
Adventure, experiences, memories, and friends… why haven’t you booked yet?
“THE VERY BASIC CORE OF A MAN’S LIVING SPIRIT IS HIS PASSION FOR ADVENTURE. THE JOY OF LIFE COMES FROM OUR ENCOUNTERS WITH NEW EXPERIENCES, AND HENCE THERE IS NO GREATER JOY THAN TO HAVE AN ENDLESSLY CHANGING HORIZON, FOR EACH DAY, TO HAVE A NEW AND DIFFERENT SUN.” — CHRIS MCCANDLESS – “INTO THE WILD”
